Salon Policies
When online or in store booking, these are the policies you agree to.

Opening Hours:
My opening hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (9:30am - 3pm), and Wednesday (9:30am - 9pm).
I am strictly unavailable on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays, and am unable to work extra hours.
INCLUSIVITY:
KH Hair welcomes and respects all genders, Non-Binary and Gender Fluid people, the entire spectrum of the LGBTQI+ Community, the elderly, people of colour, people at any level of ability, and all religions.
KH Hair will not tolerate hateful behaviour towards these communities, and will stop a service immediately if this policy is infringed upon. KH Hair implores clients to exercise compassion and kindness within the salon.
Clients are encouraged to reach out if they need a cultural or religious consideration made during their appointment. Contact KH Hair at khhairextensions@gmail.com to discuss your needs.

ACCESSIBILITY:
The Salon has direct access to a parking spot. Clients are always welcome to bring a support person or service animal along to
their appointment. If you have an accessibility need not covered here, please reach out at khhairextensions@gmail.com

SILENT SERVICE:
KH Hair happily offers a Silent Service to anyone that requests it. Clients can request a Silent Service in their booking notes, or via email at khhairextensions@gmail.com.
Kellie will give the client a thorough consultation and will ask for clarification/approval throughout the process but the rest of the time is the client's silent service.
HOW TO BOOK:

NEW CLIENT BOOKINGS:
New clients are required to follow the new client booking form HERE. They will then be contacted to book in for a full in-person consultation. This is to establish if KH Hair is a good fit for you. If a new client attempts to book in using the current clients system, your appointment will be cancelled.

CURRENT CLIENT BOOKINGS:
All appointments are made online by the client.
My calendar is only open to book two months into the future. Once I am fully booked there will be no more times available to view but you can add yourself to my waitlist via email at khhairextensions@gmail.com. Please note the date and time you would like to be put down for.

I encourage you to book all services required, and ensure that enough time has been booked for your desired result I.e. if you would like a curl finish or a natural trim.

I am booked back to back so extra styling time on the day will not be accommodated for.
CONTACT INFORMATION:
In the event that incorrect contact information is provided, including, but not limited to, customer name, phone number, or email address, KH Hair may not be held responsible for loss of correspondence, such as appointment confirmation or reminder messaging. In instances of incorrect or inaccurate contact information being provided, it is the client's responsibility to identify these errors and email khhairextensions@gmail.com or via WhatsApp on 07507710059 to have them rectified.
Please ensure you have saved my number to your phone to receive updates regarding available appointments and any further important information that KH Hair needs to supply to all clients.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION:
Automated text and email correspondence will be delivered to the client to confirm any appointments booked, using the details
provided by the client. Additionally, a reminder message, herein referred to as the "reminder", will be delivered 96 hours prior to the commencement of the appointment. The client is required to enter card details in order to confirm attendance & accept the no show/late cancellation policy. In the event that the client's attendance is not confirmed within 24 hours of receiving the reminder, the booking will be cancelled.

BOOKING APPROVALS:
Your booking will not be approved until KH Hair has checked over your appointment and ensured you have enough time booked to achieve your desired results. If your appointment needs to be moved because of this, KH Hair will notify you.
STORED CARDS:
When booking online, the client is required to store their card information on file for confirmation of attendance. This service may be referred to as 'card capture' or 'stored cards'. By agreeing to store their card information on file the client grants KH Hair permission to charge this card to take payment at the end of an appointment, or in the case of a late cancellation or no show.
PAYMENT OPTIONS:
Bank transfer and Cash are available options. Please note that KH Hair does not keep any cash on premises so make sure to bring exact change.

MAINTENANCE:
It is recommended for the health of your natural hair that clients return every 6-8 weeks for maintenance services.

REBOOKING:
It is the client's responsibility to book appointments online to receive the maintenance required. If the client does not book in advance and cannot find an appointment, KH Hair will not be held responsible. A wait list service is available through email at khhairextensions@gmail.com, if a client wishes to wait for a cancellation time.
ARRIVAL PROTOCOL:
KH Hair requires clients to arrive promptly for their service.

LATE ARRIVAL:
KH Hair does not extend service times or issue refunds/price adjustments for late arrival. Failure to arrive exactly on time for an appointment will lead to service alteration, allowing KH Hair to perform only the most important parts of the service.
Arriving more than 15 minutes late for an appointment will result in it's immediate cancellation. An invoice for the full remaining amount of the appointment cost will be sent to the email address provided by the client. KH Hair asks clients to reach out if they will be late at khhairextensions@gmail.com or via WhatsApp on 07507710059.

CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING:
The time booked for the client is reserved for the client's exclusive use. When appointments are missed, or cancelled without sufficient notice, KH Hair is often unable to fill the vacancy. Should the client need to cancel or reschedule their appointment, KH Hair requests at least 48 hours notice before the commencement time of this appointment.
Cancellations and reschedules after this 48 hour time frame will result in an invoice for half of amount of the appointment cost to be sent to the email address and phone number provided, or for the card stored on file to be charged.
Repeat cancellations will lead to forfeiture of the ability to book in again. Texting, calling, emailing, messaging via
Instagram or Facebook are not accepted forms of cancellation, it must be done through KH Hair booking website, Links to cancel are at the bottom of every confirmation email.
CHANGE OF MIND:
KH Hair will not issue price adjustments/refunds for change of mind. The client must pay for the full amount of
time booked out even if the client requests a reduced or changed service. No refunds will be issued for change of mind. Contact KH Hair directly at khhairextensions@gmail.com or via WhatsApp on 07507710059 to discuss any concerns or problems.
AGE REQUIREMENTS:
Clients may be required to show ID before the commencement of a service, people under the age of 16 will be denied service. Parental consent is required for people under the age of 18.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE:
KH Hair retains the right to refuse service at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to: frequent cancellations, lateness, failure to comply with the policies included in this document.

FAILURE TO PAY:
Failure to pay an invoice by the due date will result in a late fee charged at 10% along with forfeiting the ability to book in the future. Failure to pay is a serious offence and will be passed along to a debt collection agency.
